hello.
in arsenal's victory against newcastle chamberlain's shot was slightly deflected and therefore not counted as regular goal.
taking a look at today's chelsea-arsenal match we saw hazard's deflected strike was counted as regular goal. why that ??? please someone explain to me.

It's all about whether the original strike is considered on-target or not.

So in Hazard's case they considered that the shot was going in the direction of the goal regardless of the deflection.
