Rooney should become a striker again

It is becoming clear that Rooney is far from being considered a midfielder. It appeared at some point that he might be playing as such but this is not the case anymore.
With RVP injured till April especially, Rooney will not play anywhere near the midfield for sure.
I believe the administrators should switch him back to striker because there could be teams that end up playing with 4 strikers essentially because of that.
