Regional Release Status

Korea & Taiwan: The game has already launched on November 19, 2025. Its reception has been very strong, with Aion 2 quickly ranking among the top earners in both regions.

Global (NA/EU/SA/OCE): The Western launch is expected in mid-to-late 2026. NCSoft aims for a coordinated international release to provide a smooth experience for players worldwide.

Key Game Features

Engine & Visuals: Aion 2 runs on Unreal Engine 5, with a world roughly 36 times larger than the original Aion. The visuals are sharper, and the environments feel alive with dynamic weather and vibrant ecosystems.

Combat & Flight: Combat has shifted toward action-oriented manual controls, removing auto-play systems. Fans of the original will be happy to know that flight returns, allowing nearly unrestricted exploration across the map.

Classes: The game launches with eight classes, including Gladiator, Templar, Ranger, and Sorcerer. All classes are not gender-locked, giving players full freedom in character creation.

Platforms: Aion 2 is PC-first but will also support cross-play on mobile (iOS and Android), so you can continue your adventures anywhere.

Monetization and Gameplay Structure

Aion 2 is free-to-play, with monetization layers designed to support long-term gameplay:

Dual Memberships: Two subscription tiers (approximately $13.50 and $20.50 per month) that grant benefits like extra dungeon entries and enhanced trade permissions.
Battle Passes: Mainly cosmetic rewards to customize your character’s appearance.
Trading: Player-to-player trading relies on in-game currency, Kinah, to keep the economy balanced. If you want to get ahead without the grind, using a trusted platform like U4N for Aion 2 currency online can help you focus on mastering the game rather than farming endlessly.
How to Play Now

Even before the global release, international players can access the Taiwanese servers:

Language Support: A full English translation is included in the client.
Performance: High latency is common (180–300ms), so using network optimization tools like ExitLag or NoPing is recommended.
Account Access: Taiwanese servers don’t require a local ID, making them more accessible than Korean servers.
Final Thoughts

While we wait for the global launch, there’s plenty you can do to prepare. Explore the Taiwanese servers, plan your favorite class, or even use Aion 2 currency online through U4N to get a head start. When Aion 2 hits your region, you’ll be ready to soar through Atreia faster, stronger, and smarter than ever.
