Possible Position changes

The only difference between michu and fellaini is that michu doesnt play behind a striker so fellaini does with jelavic.

Dembele ----> MIDFIELDER

Michu should stay as midfielder.

He's not a striker, he used to play in Celta de Vigo as defensive midfielder, then at Rayo Vallecano, he started to play as creative midfielder, with a lot of goal, so the manager decide to put him as "mediapunta" -don't now the traslation into English, apologies. Michu is not a stiker, clearly, in my view.

And the same with Mata, he should be a Midfielder, in the game.

I've just seen in a Spanish-English forum, that English use Attackin Midfielder to refer a 'Mediapunta'

So, I would consider Miguel Pérez Cuesta, Michu, as Attacking Midfielder -> MIDFIELDER.

I have previously been against converting Dembelé to midfielder but have now changed my mind. He's been playing central midfield for 18 months now and no longer plays as a forward.

However as previously discussed on the forum, there's sometimes a fine line between a striker and an attacking midfielder/deep-lying striker/wing forward, especially in a 4-3-3, 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1.

For example, someone has suggested that Kevin Mirallas of Everton should be converted to a midfielder, but he's listed as a forward by his club, and plays as a wide forward. He shouldn't be changed!

On the other hand, Juan Mata of Chelsea is listed by his club as a midfielder and he plays as an attacking midfielder (the strikers are Torres, Sturridge and Piazon).

Same applies to Sascha Reither of Fulham and Coleman of Everton, who are listed as defenders by their clubs and both play as defenders (right backs).

Other players have played out of position this season, eg Baird of Fulham often plays in midfield but he's listed as a defender, and Enrique of Liverpool has played as a midfielder, but he's still a defender.

The same applies to Michu (listed as midfielder by Swansea, normally plays as a midfielder sometimes a striker), Craig Gardner (can play right back or midfield, but listed as a midfielder by Sunderland).

From my point of view Michu should stay as Midfielder

Sorry, I disagree. Only Mata should be changed. He is listed as a midfielder by Chelsea and plays a midfielder. Kevin Nolan a striker??

I dont see the walcott thing. He's right winger so if he's consider as a striker so has to be with many other player like oxlade bale lennon valencia. Some other are consider strikers like gervinho podolski. I think this position changing thing has to be equal for every player.

adam johnson and mcclean are also wingers and they are considered as midfielders. I think this winger thing has to be solved cause there is a big confusion about this position players
