The market values are a joke!

Please try to improve that. There are some good players with a market value of 160.000 GBP....

The values will increase soon, Torres. The season hasn't started yet.

In fact, that is part of the skill of this game....predicting which players' values will increase and which will not (and investing in the ones you think will increase most).

And at the end of the day, it's more important how many points a player scores than his value.
